At Apple late ‘90s. First day on the job I wore a tie. My manager told me if I came back the next day with a tie he’d use scissors and cut it off. From that day forward, it was t-shirts and sweat pants. A girl sitting next to me didn’t bother to wear shoes. Working at Apple at that time was a dream come true.
